Kagekid's Kitchen

This is my cooking show Kagekid's Kitchen! I take you through the lessons of my first semester of Culinary School and make different recipes and give you different tricks and tips to make it in your own kitchen! Each episode is also accompanied by a special guest that that joins in to eat the food and it becomes a bit of a talk show after!

The Cuts

This is my first episode of Kagekid's kitchen, at least the 2020 version anyway... This is my new installment the back to school series! Im starting with a vegan veggie terrine, an excuse for me to practice my cuts...

Breakfast Foods

This is my second episode of Kagekid's kitchen, My new installment the back to school series! I love savory breakfast foods, and can literally eat them all day. A bacon egg and cheese, combined with an eggs Benedict This is my very New York version of a very New York sandwich.

Starches and Sauces

I love sauces and the starches that accompany them! This episode I made a Tomato Rice Pilaf and Spaghetti Españole. 2 very important starches and 2 very important sauces. I was joined by Wesley, Nicole, and Darius all wonderful souls.

Chicken!

This is my halloween special, and also the secret Piecast 2. Let me know if you're interested in seeing any other episodes of the piecast. This Month's lesson is Chicken and were focusing on the Chicken Breast. I made a recipe that was super October style fall: Chicken Suprême with apples in the mirepoix and Pumpkin Grits, with all your favorite fall herbs and spices. I was joined by my wonderful harbingers of chaos Cat, Yani, and Pie, as well as Brandon who was there for support! The day we filmed this was both Cat's and Brandon's Birthday!

Wet Cooking Techniques

This is my Thanksgiving special! I hope this is still helpful for those of you doing those last-minute Friendsgivings, or anyone who needs something to do with their leftovers in the fridge! This Month's lesson is Chicken again and we're focusing on the wet cooking techniques. Also were using turkey! (hello its thanksgiving) I made a recipe that was innovative for The thanksgiving holiday, which is like a Chef's secret holiday: Turkey En Papillote with Sweet potato Wedges with Sriracha Cranberry Sauce I was joined by the unknowing voice of the people Yani!

This is my Christmas special! A wonderful way to wrap up the year and celebrate the holidays! This Month's lesson is Red Meats and we're focusing on Steak.
